Payment Policy: 

 

For all tour services contracted, a 50% deposit is required to hold the booking, on a confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid upon arrival in Dominica but definitely at the end of tour services.  

 

Children 12 years and under are 50% of adult price. Children 13 years and above are full prices. 

 

The above does not apply to taxi prices.

For all taxi services contracted, full payment of prices listed/quoted is expected to be paid either prior or directly after the fulfilment of services. There is no price differentiation based on age for taxi services until otherwise communicated by Rainforest Taxi & Tours.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: 

 

In the event of cancellation of tour/taxi services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason(s), we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing. These charges are as follows: 

 

60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / Taxi service cost 

45 days prior to arrival: 15% of the Tour / Taxi service cost 

15 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / Taxi service cost 

07 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / Taxi service cost 

 

Less than 72 hours or No Show: No Refund

In the event that Rainforest Taxi and Tours is asked to assist in booking services outside our provisions listed in "Our Services", we will refer clients to necessary business(es) or individual(s) for these services, be it for hotel accommodation or restaurant bookings.

​

Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender: 

• Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy, the same applies to restaurant bookings 

• Site passes and visitation fees cancellations are non-refundable. 

 

Our Liabilities & Limitations: 

 

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ Taxi Cost, if there are any visitation fees of historical sites/natural sites by the Government of Dominica or private institutions, or if there are any additional services that are provided by outsourced service providers, the same would be charged as extra or separately.

The minimum amount of persons needed for any group tour is 4 persons.

This does not mean that less than 4 persons cannot book a tour service. What it does means is that they have to absorb the minimum cost of 4 persons as a private booking if there is not another tour group available. To avoid this please check availability before confirmation.
